but the only problems I can see are that the boot lock is stuck and the boot release on the key doesn't work. Yes the key has an immobiliser chip in the remote body so key plus chip = car start Remote locking/alarm is a completely separate system Under the Fiat badge on the remote is the securing screw to disassemble Have a look here as you can maybe swop keys, immobiliser chip and remote internals over.
